Donaufeld School Center

Concept

A characteristic development of the urban development zones with higher buildings forms the urban framework for the new campus building. Different functions (Kindergarten, elementary school, all-day care and sports or exercise area) are combined in one building form. Organised in this way, they allow logical, functional space closures with the shortest possible distances.

With its compact L-shape, which is situated along Donaufelderstrasse with the gymnasium in front of it on the one hand and at right angles to it on the other, the building forms an urbanistic reference to the development of the immediate surroundings of the building site.

This still heterogeneous environment receives a concise, urbanistic sign.
