With the greatest possible protection of the green stock, a curved building with a main entrance was situated near the Marschallplatz. This also created a link between the central facilities on Marschallplatz and the Hetzendorf castle park.
The main classes are located in the building in an east-southeast direction in a quiet green area.
The special classrooms in the western wings enclose a break hall with the classroom wing, which merges into the schoolyard.
The gymnasium leads over to the outdoor playing areas and at the same time forms a noise barrier against the adjacent tennis courts.
