Research Centre AT Ottakring

The AT Research Centre includes the research and quality assurance laboratories of ATW and offices for rent. On the basis of an urban development report, the location was developed in the course of the new use of the ATW grounds in the area of the U3 terminus. Traffic and loading areas were built over with a statically innovative suspended construction, thus optimizing the site and building.
The elongated building with its three entrances is structured according to its functions for internal and external use.
It was particularly important to the client and the architects to include art not only inside the building, but above all in the transition to public space.
